Janet,
It was a pleasure speaking with you via phone this morning. To recap our discussion, I propose an arrangement that more or less resembles the following:
1. Camping on the Battenkill offers guests and non-guests a one-on-one 2.5 hour clinic, entitled Introduction to Fly-Fishing, which is available both weekday and weekend evenings (starting at 18:00 hours and finishing at 20:30 hours), from 23 May to 1 September, and weekend evenings from 5 September to 13 October, starting at 17:00 and finishing at 19:30 (Here, the times may have to be adjusted based on daylight conditions.), at a rate of $125/clinic.
2. Camping on the Battenkill will provide the venue.
3. Voyageurs Fieldsport, functioning as a 1099 contractor, will provide the expertise, equipment, and participant liability insurance coverage.
4. Camping on the Battenkill will receive $25 (20%) and Voyageurs Fieldsport will receive $100 (80%) from the proceeds of each one-on-one clinic.
5. Bookings and payment will be handled by Camping on the Battenkill.
6. Camping on the Battenkill’s advertisement/link will appear on the homepage of voyageursfieldsport.com below the ethos statement in a dedicated compartment/box with an appropriate H3 or H4-level heading (e.g. “Fly-Fishing Education”), which opens https://modernamericacampgrounds.com/vermont/camping-on-the-battenkill in a separate browser window.
Again, while I’ve not seen the Lake George campground, it’s possible that the arrangement might apply to both it and Camping on the Battenkill. Anyhow, what I propose guarantees that both parties will benefit at the event-level. Moreover, there is also the chance that each will enjoy more business as a consequence of the arrangement. Let me know your thoughts.
Regards,
Steve
